Primary Village South
Primary Village South provides a creative, supportive learning environment based on philosophy and pedagogy focused on early childhood education. We offer an environment where the curriculum is achieved through learner-centered classrooms responsive to the needs of the child at each stage of development, with a rich blend of academics and arts. Each year at PVS, we open our doors and offer classes for preschool, kindergarten and first grade students. We enroll children ages 3-4 in our preschool program. For children age 5 by Sept. 30, we offer kindergarten, and those students who have completed their kindergarten year may enter first grade. The Primary Village South campus provides safe and ample space for creative play and for exploring the natural sciences, while specially designed spaces encourage a sense of wonder. A strong and vibrant community of parents and teachers supports the work of the school, including an active Parent/Teacher Organization.
Centerville City Schools will open online enrollment for incoming kindergartners for the 2021-22 school year on March 1, 2021. Families of incoming kindergartners are asked to complete their registration by Friday, March 5. Registration will take place completely online this year, and information will be available on the New Student Enrollment page. Students living in the Centerville school district who will be five years old by Sept. 30 are eligible to register for kindergarten.
