Mission Statement

The Centerville Primary Village North PTO is actively committed to enhancing our children's educational experience with contributions of financial support and volunteerism. We collaborate with parents, teachers and staff to enrich our children's education and foster the wonder of learning. We create an environment that helps strengthen the connection between home and school.

PTO Supports Our School

We work hard to provide your family with both fundraising and non-fundraising events to create many wonderful family memories. Your involvement through joining, volunteering, and participating in PTO sponsored activities gives your child the great experiences you have come to expect from Centerville City Schools. Our primary events throughout the year include the Little Elk Rally, Frosty Shop, Winter Carnival, Fitness Challenge and Book Fair.

The money the PTO raises helps purchase classroom equipment and supplies, books, supplemental field trips, art enrichment programs and supplies, playground equipment, cooking classroom supplies, and a whole lot more!

Scholastic Book Fair

April 22-26

We are getting ready for our last big PTO fundraiser of the year.  Your child's class will have the chance to preview and purchase books during school.  The fair will also be open during the Summer Learning Fair on Thursday, April 25.

The support of volunteers is essential for the success of our book fair.  If you would like to volunteer, please sign up here.  Thank you!

Summer Learning Fair

Thursday, April 25
6-7:30pm

Stop by this open house style event to gather fun and educational ideas and materials to use over the summer.  Learn about writing, word games, how to have fun with books, math games, science experiments, outdoor activities, camp opportunities and more!

Enjoy snacks and a free raffle for a great door prize!

Run and Read

Our Run and Read took place on Thursday, April 11. We are still accepting donations that will be used for our backyard beautification through May 1st.

You can collect donations to turn in with the green sheet that came home with your student or sponsors can donate online through our PayPal account.  Just click the button below.
 
If you are donating online, please help us track our goals by including a few items of information.  You can do this by clicking "write a note" after entering a donation amount.  Please include your home state (we are trying to reach all 50!), your child's teacher, and if they are in the AM or PM session (kindergarten and preschool only).  Thank you!

Volunteer Opportunities

Parents are needed on PTO committees and in school as volunteers to support our teachers and staff and make our children's learning experience complete. For example, you can become an academic volunteer, a Little Elk's Cafe monitor, an IMC (library) assistant, a home-room parent or classroom helper.

Please look out for papers and emails coming home about how you can sign up to volunteer for different PTO sponsored events.

If you would like to be a committee chairperson, please contact Kristen Gayler (pvn.pto6450@gmail.com) to see what is available.

Please consider joining the PTO and becoming active in creating the wonder of education at Centerville Primary Village North!

Complete the membership form below to join the PTO anytime throughout the year! It is only $15, and it goes a long way in helping our school. PTO membership also entitles you to participate in discussions, make motions, and vote during monthly PTO meetings.

This open house style event will feature booths where parents can gather fun and educational summer learning ideas from PVN teachers and community members.  Enjoy snacks with your family while supplies last.


Do you have pictures from one of our events that you would like to share? Please email them to PVNhistorian@hotmail.com and include name/grade/teacher. Your photo may end up in our school memory book!
