Business Operations

The maintenance staff maintains 15 facilities that include 1.3 million square feet of building space and about 300 acres of grounds. The maintenance team helps support students and staff by maintaining a safe and effective learning environment in all of our classrooms and provides operation services throughout the district. The maintenance department works hard to keep the facilities in operating order throughout the year. Work is constantly being done to make repairs, replace equipment, and deliver a preventative maintenance program for the district.

The Centerville City Schools Transportation Department is made up of two supervisors, four secretaries, three bus mechanics, and about 130 bus drivers and aides. This team operates more than 120 buses and over 550 individual bus routes every day.
