CHS Speakers Bureau

There are opportunities for professionals to relate information about their occupations, hobbies or other areas. Since there is no one-on-one interaction with students and the teacher is present, this would not require a background screening. If you are interested in this opportunity, please share your job title and/or area of expertise.

CHS Medical Symposium

Each year, CHS hosts a Medical Symposium for Anatomy/Physiology and Biotech students where healthcare professionals serve on a panel and round table discussions to stimulate interest in pursuing biomedical careers. Since there is no one-on-one interaction with students and the teacher is present, this would not require a background screening. If you are interested in this opportunity, please share your job title and/or area of expertise.

I have a current background screening through SecureVolunteer-Background Investigation Bureau (BIB), and my ID badge will be valid for the entire 2019-20 school year. I have a valid background screening through SecureVolunteer-BIB, but my ID badge will expire during the entire 2019-20 school year. (I understand that I cannot volunteer in Centerville City Schools without a current SecureVolunteer-BIB background screening. I will need to submit a request for a new background screening and be approved in order to continue volunteering. Volunteers can submit a new request through SecureVolunteer-BIB within 30 days of the expiration date.) I have a current background screening through Centerville City Schools (issued to substitutes, team managers/coaches, CCS retired staff, CCS employees, etc.).
