Destination Imagination Congratulations to the following students who recently participated in the Destination Imagination State Affiliate Tournament! These students prepared a Zoom-based "Instant Challenge" video and also a five-minute "Central Challenge" video submission for their specific topic. On April 3rd, the State Award ceremony was streamed on Facebook Live, and based on their placements, the following students have been invited to participate in the Destination Imagination Global Finals! Technical, 2nd Place – Abbey Caban Scientific, 1st Place – Heba Fatima, Pardhiv Mandava, Ryan Oxrider, Gabriel Reker, Samaria Williams Fine Arts, 3rd Place – Lucy Amrine, Gabrielle Roseberry, Sariah Turner In addition, this team received a special award, the DaVinci, for risk-taking, outstanding creativity and taking an unique approach to solving their Instant Challenge. Destination Imagination is an international problem-solving competition for students of all ages. Our student-led STEAM-based Challenges reinforce core social-emotional learning (SEL) competencies—social awareness, relationship skills, responsible decision making, self-awareness, and self-management. Yearbooks Available For Purchase Online or at School! Don't miss out on getting a remembrance of this most unusual year! You can still purchase a yearbook online at ybpay.lifetouch.com using the code 5785821.
We are now offering the opportunity to reserve a yearbook by paying with cash or check! Yearbooks are $16. There will be order forms available at the Student Information board and advisors will have them as well. You can also print out this form and send it in to school with your check or cash. Please make checks out to Magsig Middle School.
We do have a limited quantity of yearbooks so don't wait! Yearbooks will be handed out during the last week of school.
To Parents of 8th Grade Students
Magsig's Video Yearbook team would like to request a baby picture of your child. We will put the picture in our final video production so the students can reminisce about how far they've come. Please e-mail or send a paper version.
E-mail a digital copy to Please put your Student's full name and Family in the subject line.
Send a paper version of your photo to the Magsig office in an envelope addressed to Magsig Video Yearbook. Please put your Student's full name and Family on the envelope or the back of the picture. Note, this paper copy will not be returned to you. Thank you for your assistance!

Parents of all Incoming Seventh Graders 2021/2022
If your student will be entering 7th grade in the fall of 2021, the following two vaccines are required by the Ohio Department of Health:
Tdap booster vaccine - within the past five years (2016 or later) Meningococcal vaccine - If your student received this vaccine after the age of 10, the requirement has been met.
These are requirements of the Ohio Department of Health. We must have documentation of these two vaccines, OR a signed immunization waiver form. If your student will not be receiving these immunization due to personal/religious reasons, a doctor's signature is NOT required.
We need to have this information on file by the first day of school, August 18, 2021. The completed form can be submitted to my email (regan.koch@centerville.k12.oh.us), fax (937-433-5256), or mailed to the school.

ATTENTION ALL 8TH GRADE BOYS INTERESTED IN HIGH SCHOOL SOCCER There will be an informational Zoom meeting with head Coach Jeff Monbeck on April 12, 2021 at 7:30pm for players and parents. He will discuss futsal, summer conditioning and the tryout process and answer questions. Zoom link will be sent out closer to the meeting through listserve at each middle school and will be posted on Twitter @ElksBoysSoccer.
Middle School Volleyball Lady Elks Summer Volleyball Camp Registration is OPEN now for girls in grades K-8th.
Girls from all school districts are welcome to attend.

2021-2022 Cheerleading Season Grades 7 -12
Informational Zoom Meeting Monday, April 26 7:00-7:30pm. The link will be sent out closer to the date.
Tryout Clinics will be held Tuesday, May 11 and Thursday, May 13 6:30pm-8:30pm in the back gym at Centerville High School. Tryouts will be Sunday, May 16 8:00am-1:00pm at Centerville High School.

All students who plan to try out for the 2021-22 school year must have a valid physicals and paperwork on file. Paperwork can be found on https://centervilleelkathletics.com/ - use the 'MORE' tab to access paperwork. If the student participated in athletics during the 2020 – 2021 school year, a valid physical must be on file. SPRING FLOWER SALE It's beginning to look a lot like Spring... The Centerville Band Boosters (CBB) Spring Flower sale is back!!! and will go on through April 15th, 2021. We have added new varieties of flowers to our list of wonderful selections. Flowers will arrive on Saturday May 1st and ready for pick up between 11 am - 2:00 pm, on time to make a beautiful gift for Mother's Day. This fundraiser proceeds will be distributed evenly among all band members.

We offer several colors and varieties of flats and hanging baskets from $16-$18, patio planters with a spike in two sizes for either $20 or a Premium Combo Planter for $35 - think Mother's Day gifts!!!
