Wednesday, March 17, 2021 4TH QUARTER LEARNING LOCATION: Please view this video from Dr. Henderson discussing our district plans as we enter the 4th quarter. Please click here to view the video. Please click here to view the revised district calendar. This includes the change of Wednesday, June 2nd from a remote learning day to an in-person day.
As we move to the 4th quarter, the learning location guidelines have been updated.
Recently, the learning location of students has become more fluid and has created a challenge for our staff. The safety of our students is always a high priority and communication regarding student attendance is an important piece of student safety and well-being in our current environment. Additionally, our teachers are working hard to plan meaningful learning experiences for both in-person and remote students and are counting on students to participate in class through the mode in which you have communicated with the school.
Starting on March 22nd, we need all parents to determine a learning location for their child and to commit to that learning location throughout the 4th quarter. If your student plans on returning to IN PERSON learning, please email Jennifer.Deaton@centerville.k12.oh.us or call 937-434-0730 as soon as possible. You can check the HAC for transportation information 24 hours after you notify the office.
If you choose to have your child in the in-person learning location and they need to be absent, please call the school office to let us know of the absence and have your child work on the items in the google classroom. I would ask that you do not have your child zoom in for that day.
