2ND QUARTER GRADE REPORTS:  Grade reports for the second quarter can be viewed on the Home Access Center under the grades tab.

 

SAFETY PROTOCOLS: EVERYONE ENTERING WATTS MIDDLE SCHOOL MUST WEAR A MASK AND PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCING. PLEASE HELP US KEEP EACH OTHER SAFE! IF YOU ARE SICK PLEASE STAY HOME!: The health and safety of all staff and students is our number one priority.  Our guiding safety priorities are the following:

●Face coverings are required.  There are no exceptions.
●Social distancing will be practiced as much as possible
●Everyone should wash hands or use hand sanitizer often
●Supplies and surfaces will be sanitized after each use

 

HEALTH AND SAFETY PROTOCOLS:

Stay home if you're sick!  You can Zoom into classes if you are staying home due to illness. 

Follow the daily home screening checklist each day before entering school or the bus.

CONFERENCE MEALS FOR TEACHERS: Parent Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Wednesday, February 24th and Thursday, February 25th.  PTO is providing a pizza dinner on Wednesday and subs for lunch on Thursday.  Please consider signing up to donate money toward the pizza and subs or for chips, drinks, fruit, and desserts.  

Donations can be sent in with your student or dropped off at Watts anytime leading up to February 24th.  Thank you for your support!

7TH & 8TH GRADE GIRLS LACROSSE:  Interested in playing lacrosse this season? 7th and 8th grade girls who are interested in playing lacrosse this upcoming spring should contact Coach Stoops at stoopsl1@udayton.edu to be added to the TeamSnap for more information about tryouts and preseason practices.

 

MIDDLE SCHOOL SOFTBALL: 

FYI—tryouts will start the week of Feb. 22 at Watts field/gym…

 

you will need a physical, emergency medical, concussion, and Lindsay Law forms filled out in order to try-out  (links for forms are attached below and need to be turned in to the Athletic Department at Centerville High School BEFORE try-outs)

THIS WILL CONTINUE EVERY SUNDAY (10:45 AM – 12:00 PM) WITH THE FINAL SUNDAY BEING FEBRUARY 14. 

 

This is where Coach Wendell Hutchinson, head varsity coach, has 3 cages indoors.  You will need to enter from the back of the building….it will be propped open…just drive around to the back of the strip mall complex.  This is open to ANY 7th or 8th grade girl in Centerville City Schools that is interested in playing softball in Spring, 2021. 

 

It will go from 10:45 AM-12 PM.  There will be no instruction, just hitting off tee, live hitting with machine, and hitting with live pitching.  Parents, please drop off as early as 10:30 AM and pick-up at 12.  No parents are allowed in the complex, just coaches and players.  Players will need a cell phone to check in before hitting as we did at the open fields. 

 

Players will need MASK, Cell Phone to check-in, Bat, Glove, Helmet (if you do not have a helmet, there will a few available), and Catcher's Gear (if you are a catcher).

MIDDLE SCHOOL TRACK:  Attention all 7th & 8th grade middle school students who are interested in running track this year. We are asking you to fill in the interest sheet (link below) so that we can begin to send out information when it becomes available. The season starts on Monday March 2nd and you will need to have all paper work filled out and turned-in prior to the start of the season.
