Return to In-Person Learning TOMORROW!
Dear Cline Families,
We are eager to bring back students to our building tomorrow, January 19th! A few details about our building procedures as we return. These are the same protocols we had when we returned in quarter two, but I thought a few reminders may be helpful.
Student Arrival/Dismissal: Students arriving by parent drop off, please continue using our Virginia Ave. entrance. Doors will open at 7:35. Students can head to breakfast, or to the library to wait socially distanced until 7:45am. For dismissal, students will be sent out to cars as you arrive. Please use signs in your window you previously received. If you do not have one, we will get you a new one, or simply write your student's first and last name on a piece of paper to hold up in the window.
Recess: Students will have time outside daily as long as the temperature (windchill) is 20 degrees or above. Please send your student with gloves, hats, and winter coats. If you need assistance with winter apparel, please contact Angie Tyler, angela.tyler@centerville.k12.oh.us. We are happy to help, and want all of our students to enjoy time outside.
Voyager: Voyager will be open in all Elementary buildings for K (pm) - 5th grade students on Tuesday, January 19th. If you were previously enrolled, there is nothing you need to do. You are still on the list. To protect the children and our staff, we will be following all the safety guidelines and protocols established by the District and the State of Ohio. If you would like to have your child(ren) join Voyager, and have not registered them, you must complete and return ( via email) the enrollment packet located on this Website www.centerville.k12.oh.us listed under "Students & Parents". There is no Registration Fee. (No Voyager on Wednesdays) If you have questions, don't hesitate to call or email. We are all looking forward to having the children back with us in Voyager.
Transportation: Bus Routes are available on Home Access Center! Please login and look under the registration tab to find your bus routes. As we get closer to the start of In-Person learning, bus routes may be updated. Please take a look! If you have any changes in transportation, please contact the office.
Safety Considerations: To keep everybody safe, please remember masks are required at school. We will have plenty of hand sanitizer for students to use at school, and we will continue our cleaning protocols just as we did during quarter two in-person learning. Additionally, if your child is sick, or anyone in your family is showing COVID symptoms, please keep your child home. Please also send a water bottle in with your child (and your child's name labeled on bottle). We have bottle filling stations, but the standard drinking fountains will not be operational. By maintaining these standards, we hope to keep your children learning in person here at Cline. Please see the district Pre-Screening Flyer for additional information.
We can't wait to welcome back our students tomorrow!
