COVID NOTIFICATION LETTER

END OF THE SECOND QUARTER:  The end of the second quarter is Friday, January 15th. Please check your child's grades on the Home Access Center.  Students should submit all missing assignments they have for the 2nd Quarter by Friday, January 15th.

THE WATTS STAFF IS EXCITED TO WELCOME STUDENTS BACK TO SCHOOL ON TUESDAY,  JANUARY 19TH!

PLAN FOR RETURN TO IN-PERSON LEARNING: RETURN TO IN-PERSON LEARNING ON TUESDAY, JANUARY 19TH:  The district plans to resume in-person learning on Tuesday, January 19th.  If you plan to change your child's learning location (from in-person to remote or remote to in-person) it is important for you to contact me by email or phone.  Please contact me as soon as you make a decision.  If your child has been on full-remote all year and DID NOT attend Watts last year be sure to mention that information.  We would like to offer a self-guided tour to students new to Watts- meaning that they were not here for our 5 weeks of In-Person learning AND they did not attend Watts last year.

You can email me at brian.miller@centerville.k12.oh.us or you can call (937) 434-0370.

Thank You!

DAILY SCHEDULES FOR ALL STUDENTS STARTING TUESDAY,  JANUARY 19TH:  We will be continuing with the block schedule at this time.  These are the same schedules we followed when we were in-person at the start of the second quarter in October.  We will continue with remote learning on Wednesdays.  Additional  information regarding the return to in-person learning will be shared later.

School Reopening Information For Parents

LUNCH/BREAKFAST PACKS:  The standard school lunch will continue to be free of charge to all students in Centerville City Schools.  Breakfast packs will continue to be made available for all students during advisory.

BACKPACKS:  Lockers will not be used when students return in-person.  Students will need to bring their backpack with supplies and their chromebook each day.

COATS:  Weather permitting, we will continue to go outside for breaks and recess.  It is important that students dress appropriately for the winter temperatures.  It can also be cooler in the building as a result of students going outside more frequently.

MY CHILD IS NOT RIDING A BUS:  WHAT WILL DROP OFF/PICK UP LOOK LIKE:  It is best to ride the bus if one has been assigned to you.  The earliest drop off time will be 8:30 A.M.  Dismissal will be staggered to avoid a crowd of students going to buses.   Please be patient with this process!  It will go slow at first, and no one should be in a hurry! Be respectful of school staff, students, and other members of the Watts community.  There are over 20 buses, and a lot of other traffic to manage.  Please review that traffic pattern map.

All students must cross at the crosswalk for parent pick up

All traffic moves one way

Please don't drive the opposite direction- this is dangerous
