IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR OUR REMOTE FAMILIES REGARDING OUR INTEGRATED ARTS CLASSES (PE, ART, AND MUSIC).
Because we are following a different schedule than we did first quarter, we wanted to make you aware of some things that have changed with our Integrated Arts Classes.
- For REMOTE students, there is a NEW lesson posted every day in google classroom. We would like for you to try and have your student do the lesson at the same time as their classmates (see the schedule below for times). - For REMOTE students, there is NOT a live ZOOM for Integrated Arts on M/T/Th/F

On Wednesdays, all of our students are home for an abbreviated school day. For their Integrated Arts class, there will be a NEW lesson posted for all students to complete.
Also on Wednesday only, any student can join a live zoom during the last 15 minutes of their scheduled Integrated Art time to meet with their Integrated Arts teacher.

Library News:
All students may check out up to two books at a time. In Person students are now able to check out books on assigned days that are listed below:
Monday=5th grade Tuesday=4th grade Thursday=3rd grade Friday =2nd grade
Mrs. Cullman will deliver the books to classrooms as soon quickly as possible. When students are finished with their library books, they can be returned directly to bins placed outside the library. These bins are labeled by grade level.
Remote students are also able to check out books, using the same system that they used during the first quarter. These books will be available for pick up during our materials pick up on Wednesdays. We will also collect library books that same day from our remote learners in bins located outside of the library doors in our lobby.
On Wednesdays, Mrs. Cullman will be posting a library book read for all students to view in google classroom.
TECHNOLOGY TIME:
Students will meet with our Technology Aide, Mrs. Kimbrell-Amlin during the week in their scheduled classroom time. Technology does not meet on Wednesdays during our remote learning day.
MASKS UP!
Just a reminder to check the fit of your child's mask! Now that we have been back at school for a week, we are finding that some of our students are wearing masks that are a bit big and not fitting comfortably on the children's faces. Another issue we are seeing is a need to wash the masks frequently!
If you are able to provide at least two masks for your child, they can be rotated and washed day to day. We do have disposable masks available for students that have forgotten their mask, but the importance of a comfortable, well fitting mask to make your child's school day more tolerable can't be over-stressed!
FALL HARVEST PARTIES CANCELLED:
Out of an abundance of caution, we will not be holding our annual Harvest Parties at school this year. Thank you for understanding.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call the school office at 937-434-0725.
