ELK ATHLETES NEED YOUR SUPPORT: The year of 2020 has been filled with many first time challenges that we will overcome. But one thing remains the same — the Centerville Athletic Program provides a rewarding opportunity for our students to grow and develop. With the uncertainty that COVID-19 has brought to our Elks, now more than ever your booster membership or donation is needed to support our Elk athletes. Although we are grateful to be allowed to have a season, we're already seeing the negative impact of COVID-19 in the Boosters fundraising activities. Concession revenue is only at 10-15% of its normal level, program ad donations are drastically reduced, and our membership drive is off to a slow start. All funds raised directly benefit the Centerville athletic programs and athletes. Each year, CHS has nearly 1,400 players participate during the three different sport seasons. During these tough economic times for Centerville schools, memberships and donations to the Boosters will provide access to funding for our coaches and players that would otherwise be a burden to their families and the district. If you have already joined — thank you! If you haven't, we ask you to please consider supporting the annual membership drive. To sign up, simply click here to join online. Please know that your contribution is truly appreciated and will provide much needed support to our teams. No one knows for certain what the 2020/2021 school year may look like. But what we do know is that the Centerville Athletic program will be strong and represent the Centerville community well! We hope that the athletes and sports programs can count on your support. If you have not provided the required paperwork to School Nurse Gayle Couch, your student has not met the requirements for school vaccinations. This requirement applies to students who are in person learning and online learning. Take the time to provide documentation by email (gayle.couch@centerville.k12.oh.us), fax (937-260-4416), or mail to Centerville High School attention school nurse.
