Weller Families,
Thank you for a great "soft" opening. It was so nice see most of the students back in the building. Please see the updates below for PTO and other building details.
Students of the Week 10/16 The link announcing this week's students of the week is below. We will announce to families how we plan to recognize students in the 2nd quarter next week.
Chromebook Distribution We will be distributing chrome books to students who have not received a district issued chrome book on Monday. ALL students will receive a chrome book. If you have a personal device that you would like your child to use, that is fine as well. We will still issue them a chrome book as all district and state testing must be done on school devices. They have a couple of options if they have their own device: 1) Leave their personal device at home and keep their school device at school. This would allow your child to NOT have to transport devices back and forth. 2) Use your personal device every day and transport it back and forth. We would leave the district issued device in the classroom until it is time for testing.
**Please make sure cords are coming to and from school with the chrome books. Devices may not stayed charged throughout the day. **We are asking students to travel with their chrome books every day. In these uncertain times, we want to make sure they have their device with them.
Spirit Wear is BACK! Back by popular demand, we are reopening our spirit wear sale for 1 WEEK ONLY! There are many different design options that you can choose to customize your item, so make sure you click on that item to see the different design possibilities. Thank you to all of our Weller families who have linked their Kroger Plus card to the Weller PTO! You are helping us raise funds for things like teacher allotments, classroom enrichments like Brain Pop subscriptions for each class, capital items, new books for the library, and more! Even though the contest has ended, it is not too late to link your Kroger Plus Card to Weller so we can make sure the teachers and the school have the resources they need! Go to www.krogercommunityrewards.com and select "Weller PTO" or Organization # ML376. If you have questions or need assistance, contact Kylene Spalding at kclaucherty@hotmail.comor 513-258-3865.
