News for October 8th, 2020 Hello PVS Parents! PVS has a long standing tradition of having Homeroom Parent/Guardian Volunteers plan Halloween and Winter parties. This year we won't be holding a traditional Halloween party at PVS, but teachers will celebrate the day with their classes. Students may come to school dressed in a "not-so-scary" costume. The teachers will have a parent-donated prepackaged snack and drink for each child and they will have some classroom Halloween activities on October 29th for preschool students and again on October 30th for KG and 1st grade students.
PTO is helping to coordinate Halloween party bags that would be sent home with each child. The notion is to have classroom volunteers assemble party bags at home and have them delivered to PVS by 10/27, to be sent home with students on 10/29 (preschool) and 10/30 (kg and 1st). Party Bags can contain only prepackaged items, no homemade treats. Examples of items: little toys, a simple craft, edible treats (pending allergies), stickers, fall themed pencils, erasers.
The staff and teachers are extremely thankful to have classroom parents/guardians working together on the Halloween Party Bags. This electronic Sign Up will serve as gathering of contact information for Homeroom Parents. Once people sign up. it will be up to each class to have all their people work together to make the bags.
Classroom Halloween Party Bags would need to be delivered to PVS before October 27th so they can be given to each child on Friday, October 30th (preschool October 29th).
