News for July 16, 2020 Hi PVN families!
I hope this email finds your family healthy and happy.
You should've received an email from Centerville Schools outlining the choices for in-person (beginning the year in a 50/50 blended model) OR fully online for the first semester.
If your family is new to CCS, just enrolled from a different district/school OR if you are an incoming kindergarten/young fives family, you will NOT be able to "vote" on which option you want for your child until the end of the day tomorrow.
Tomorrow is the day that we move our online data base from the 2019-20 school year to the 2020-21 school year. Thus, new sudents (move-ins or kindergartners) are not yet recognized. If all goes well, you will be able to "vote" tomorrow evening. Keep in mind, you have until Fri. July 24 to respond!
Please note, if you do not have an HAC account set up you will need to follow these directions, which were in the original email, to activate your account so that you can "vote".
If you have not completed the registration process on the Home Access Center (HAC), you will need to do that first. Click here to start the registration process. Please use the parent/guardian information that was used at enrollment when completing the HAC registration process.
I have received many, many questions since the district email went out. I am working hard to answer all of your emails and phone calls. I plan to put together an informative email over the next few days. If there's anything I've learned over the last 30 years, if one person asks the question, ten more parents are wondering the same thing!
Please don't hesitate to reach out with questions/concerns. I will be on vacation next week but plan to check email/voicemail regularly. Please know our district and our school cares deeply about your children and your family and we are doing our very best to make the upcoming school year a success (even with a few curve balls).
Take care!
