News for May 25, 2020 Dear PVS Families, We have important student projects and belongings to return to you before the end of the school year. You may also have books and materials that need to be returned to PVS. The information below outlines the plan for student materials pick-up and PVS supplies drop-off. Please read through all parts carefully. In an effort to maintain social distancing and protect our families and our staff, please adhere to the following procedures and schedule. This schedule has been created for the whole district so parents can get to multiple schools if necessary.
When is pick-up/drop-off scheduled for PVS? Items can be picked up May 26th – 28th according to your assigned date and time. Please refer to the table to identify your assigned date and time. The schedule is listed alphabetically according to student's last name. If you cannot come during your assigned time, we have evening hours from 6:00-7:00 p.m. on each date. If none of these dates or times work for you, please contact our office to schedule an appointment the week of June 1st-June 5th.
What do families need to do to maintain a safe process for all? Safety is our number one concern when planning the drop-off and pick-up of materials.
Before you arrive, please be prepared. All volunteers will be in masks and gloves. Please consider also wearing a mask when we come to your car to help collect and give you school items.
If we cannot use your trunk to pick up and drop off materials, then we would prefer to use your backseat.
As you arrive, here's what you can expect. As you pull into the PVS parking lot you will be greeted by staff that will direct you. Please stay in your car.
We will do our best to keep traffic moving along. Please do not get out of your car. As much as we'd love to give goodbye summer hugs and high fives, we cannot do that at this time.
What needs to be dropped off to PVS? Many students have taken home books and supplies that belong to the teacher or school. Items that have been borrowed may include, but are not limited to: Library books
Chromebooks and hotspots may be kept over the summer. We are not collecting these at this time. Students may access enrichment activities over the summer. Curriculum will have more information on this soon.
