FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT IS TONIGHT!
We hope to see many of our families tonight at FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT, for a showing of the movie "Aladdin" (PG) (released this fall). The PTO is sponsoring our MOVIE NIGHT in conjunction with the Scholastic Book Fair that is being held this week. We hope you will come out and shop the book fair before and after the movie (parents can also shop during the movie if they wish!).
* Please note, this is not a drop off event; parents need to plan on staying for the evening.*
TIMES: - The book fair's doors open (in our library) at 5:30 and close at 9:00.
- The gym doors for the movie open at 6:00 PM, and the movie itself starts at 6:30. (please note, no access to the gym before 6:00 PM).
- At 6:25, there will be a drawing to win the Aladdin DVD and also for book fair money to be used at the book fair. All students attending the movie night will receive a raffle ticket; you must be present to win!
See you tonight!
HOLIDAY AID FOOD DRIVE:
Each year our student council works with the Miami Valley Food Bank to sponsor a food drive through Holiday Aid.
Our barrels have arrived and are ready to be filled. Please consider sending in canned and boxed food items with your students so we can fill our barrels! (please, no glass containers). Our barrels will be picked up on the 17th and we are hoping to have them FULL!
Final Chorus practice REMINDER:
Mr. Schomburg has notified our 4th and 5th grade chorus parents of an after school practice on Monday, December 9th from 2:30 - 3:10. The deadline to let us know that your child has permission to stay, and how they will be getting home, is today. If you have not already done so, please email Mr. Schomburg or call the school office at 434-0725 to give your student permission to stay.
Thank you to the many parents who have already given us this advance notice as we prepare for 80+ potential transportation changes on Monday!
