FUNDRAISERS
We Need Your (Gently Used) Shoes! Centerville Destination Imagination is leading a District-wide shoe collection fundraising campaign and will be collecting gently used shoes at each school from November 11-November 22. Working with Funds2Orgs.com, Destination Imagination students are asking families to help us as we attempt to collect at least 2500 pairs of gently worn shoes. We will accept any type - kids and adult, men's and women's, dressy and casual, flip flops, sandals, boots, sports cleats - as long as they are GENTLY used. All shoes donated will be sent to developing countries for micro-entrepeneurs to sell to their customers for far less money. There will be a labeled drop-off bin located in your school near the office. Please consider donating your family's gently used footwear to this worthy cause. You may send the shoes to school with your child or, for larger amounts of shoes, parents may bring them in themselves and place them in the container marked for the shoe drive. Centerville Destination Imagination appreciates the Centerville community's support of our fundraiser.
