Connect Centerville will hold an event at 6 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 4 at Woodbourne Library, 6060 Far Hills Ave. This event will be an opportunity for Host and Immigrant Families to meet up and explore library resources
The next Junior Optimist meeting is THIS Thursday, Nov. 7th, until 5:00 PM. We will be starting our preparation for our annual holiday trip to Dayton public school, Westwood Elementary, so we hope your J.O. member will be able to attend this Thursday's meeting. Middle School Athletics Wrestling Registration Now Underway
All current 7th or 8th grade students at Magsig, Tower Heights, or Watts who wish to join the wrestling team this winter need to visit https://forms.gle/Z7xwu6LKJzLjW6oq9 in order to place their name on the roster.
After registering, please visit our website (http://www.centervilleelkathletics.com) and click on the more tab and then Parent Info to access the paperwork.
Any student-athlete wishing to be on the team must have on file in the training room at CHS:
1. A 2019-2020 OHSAAA Physical Exam Form (6 pages) 2. An EMA form (1 page) 3. A Concussion Information Sheet (3 pages – parents keep the first two and turn in page 3 with the signatures) 4. A 2019-2020 Code of Conduct Form (4 pages) 5. A Lindsey's Law form (1 page).
*** All paperwork must be turned in at the Centerville HS Athletic Office so that it may be checked for all required signatures and dates. If you are currently playing a fall sport or tried out for one, all of your paperwork is on file and you do not need to submit it again. No paperwork is to be turned into the coaches. All students interested should attend an important informational meeting with at least one of their parents on Wednesday, November 6 at 7:00 PM in the IMC at Tower Heights Middle School. Practices begin on Monday, November 18 and will be held every Monday-Friday until 6:00 in the gym at Tower Heights. There is no transportation provided by the school district to practice so the kids who attend Magsig and Watts will need to find their own way to Tower Heights for practice.
Upcoming Events Picture retake day is Thursday! If you want a retake done for your student, have them bring the picture packet back to the photographer. If your student did not get their picture taken in August, they will need to have their picture taken. There are order forms available on the counter in the office or you can go to mylifetouch.com and use picture ID: EVTN6793G.
