News from the Parent Mentor Centerville & Oakwood City Schools
Hello everyone!
I hope you all have enjoyed the beautiful weather we have had lately. I am looking for activities, but I couldn't find much going on in the next couple of weeks. I know that basketball registration will be starting soon. I know of a few programs, Washington Rec has one, there's one in Miamisburg, and Fairhaven has Polar Bears (I just learned that they ARE having it this year contrary to rumors). I will provide information when those registrations open up. I also know that Adaptive Winter Guard should be starting again soon. I'm waiting to hear back about how to register for that. Please let me know if I have missed anything! What other programs are your kids involved in?
Below I have some training/information sessions that are available for parents. OCECD is offering 33 free parent registrations for OCALICON in November. If you are interested in attending, see below. And there are two other opportunities for parents, a Facebook Live event and a waiver information session in Dayton. And finally, Woodbourne Library is hosting a movie afternoon.
Have a great week!
Dawn Millhouse
