Parents,
Thank you in advance for all your support with the Otis Spunkmeyer Fundraiser! Your child should bring home a fundraising packet today from our kickoff assembly. This is a joint fundraiser for the PTO and Principal's Fund and will be the only fundraiser for the school year. Please see the list of Frequently Asked Questions below about this year's fundraiser:
1) How long does the Fundraiser last? The Fundraiser goes from August 29-September 13th.
2) What is the money earned used for? All proceeds earned from this fundraiser go directly back to the school to support the school and educational programming. In previous years, this money has been used to purchase Chrome Books, Cincinnati Museum Visits, Gaga Pit, other Playground Equipment, and other educational resources.
3) Should we collect money immediately or do they pay on delivery? All money should be collected at the time of sale.
4) What type of payment is accepted? We will accept cash or check. All checks need to be made out to Weller Elementary PTO
5) I want to support the fundraiser, but do not want to buy cookie dough. Is this possible? Yes, we have many parents each year who just make a monetary donation to support the fundraiser. That money can just be sent in like the other orders. Please just make a note that it is a donation. Students from these families can also earn the Weller Specific prizes (silly string, party bus, etc.).
6) How does my child select the prizes from the prize poster? On the bottom left portion of the order form, there is space for you to mark which specific prize you would like. If you forget to do this, the company will just select a prize for your child.
7) When is the cookie dough going to be delivered? The specific date has yet to be decided. Once that date is finalized, I will get that information out to you immediately. In years past, the delivery date was in mid-late October.
8) Can you order online? Yes, you can set up an account online and have people order through your account. Since all cookie dough is frozen on delivery, it will not be shipped and must be picked up during the school delivery. Please follow the directions attached here.
As always, if you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact the school at (937)885-3273.
Thanks again!
