We're all in this together! Coronavirus updates Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine announced on April 20 that the closure of K-12 school buildings in Ohio will be extended for the remainder of the school year. Our teachers will continue the remote learning we have in place through the end of this school year on May 28 (May 20 for seniors). We will keep providing updates to our families and staff members through our website, The Education Connection phone system and email notification from individual teachers, schools and the district. Frequently asked questions Our website includes a list of questions and answers as our district responds to the extended school closure due to the coronavirus. This FAQ page will be updated as information changes. Remote learning Our Curriculum Department, Technology Department, administrators and teaching staff have been able to implement remote learning opportunities for all students at all grade levels. For the majority of our students, this is being accomplished through Google Classroom. Our youngest learners brought home materials, receive emails with assignments from their classroom teacher, and have access to a website with more ideas. Families will continue to receive updates from your child's teacher(s) over the coming weeks. Share your photos We'd love to see photos of our students and teachers participating in remote learning activities. Reply to this email with a photo of your child(ren), and we may feature it in an upcoming post on social media! Check out our YouTube channel to see photos we've already shared.
