Optimist Oratorical Contest [Grades 6-12] The 2020 Optimist Oratorical Contest is an excellent opportunity for students to develop public speaking skills. Centerville-Washington Park District Summer Employment [Grades 9-12] The Centerville-Washington Park District is accepting applications for summer employment. Seasonal program staff can work at nature day camps, at the Summer Recreation Program or as summer naturalists. All program staff must be enthusiastic about working with children, enjoy the outdoors, and be willing to make an 11-week commitment. Seasonal operations staff assist with the day-to-day maintenance of 51 parks and must be 18 years old.
Greater Dayton Chinese School Registration Opens Now [All ages] The Greater Dayton Chinese School (GDCS) is a not-for-profit organization serving the Greater Dayton area. GDCS offers a variety of language classes for both Chinese-speaking and non-Chinese speaking families. Classes meet on Sundays from 1:30-4:30 p.m. at the Jesse Philips Humanities Center at the University of Dayton.
