Board of Education holds September meeting

The Centerville Board of Education held its regular meeting on Sept. 17. A highlight of the meeting was a donation of books and school supplies from Subaru of Dayton. The student board representatives and Treasurer Mitch Biederman also gave reports.

Students to perform at library opening
The newly formed Centerville Youth Winds, combined with the Centerville Middle School Percussion Ensemble, will be performing at the Flag raising ceremony during the Woodbourne Library grand opening this Sunday, Sept. 23 at 12:30 p.m. These groups are comprised of band students from Watts, Magsig and Tower Heights Middle Schools. The Centerville High School Jazz Combo will also be performing throughout the event.
