In terms of ACADEMICS, our team members improve critical thinking, problem solving, analysis, effective impromptu answers, a deeper understanding of cause and effect -- coupled with economic and political implications, and a universal rather than ethno-centric view of the world.
Simultaneously, our students develop self-confidence, poise, effective communication skills and the ability to read an audience in order to persuade with logic, rhetoric and pathos.

Our activity is devoted to improving students’ time management, communication and thinking skills while developing confidence and poise.
We believe that we can educate, have fun and also be highly competitive.
Participation in Speech and Debate does not prevent students from being able to participate in other activities, but it does require dedicated commitment, strong work ethic and attention to time management skills. The season begins in October, but students can join at any time.

As we reopen school buildings, we have updated our quarantine guidelines. The Ohio Department of Health still requires school districts to quarantine individuals who have been identified as a close contact; however, the change in quarantine guidance now allows us to quarantine in tiers.
