Tell us about your job.
My job has changed a lot over the years so I don't feel like I have been doing the same thing for 24 years! It is busy, active and challenging but so rewarding because little light bulbs are going off constantly.

What are some of your goals this year?
I am always looking to make the most of my time with kindergartners. I love getting new ideas from my teammates both in K and 1st. I also work hard to balance my busy home life with school.

Tell us about your family.
I have two daughters who both dance for the Centerville Coeds. They are 13 and 16, and I am constantly amazed by their ability to balance school and sports. My husband is an attorney with an office downtown. My parents also live close by and are big supporters of Centerville schools. (My mom volunteers in the library here at PVN.)

Where did you grow up?
I am a proud graduate of Stingley, Tower Heights and CHS. EPND! My family moved here when I was in kindergarten. Although we have lived here most of our lives, we still claim Wisconsin as home and root for the Badgers and Packers!

Tell us something interesting about yourself.
I also teach ice skating at Kettering Ice Arena and have been skating since I was 3.

What is your favorite book, movie, TV show or hobby?
I love to watch my girls compete in dance and softball. Our family tries to fit in family hikes or dinners on the weekends when we can.

What do you think you'd be doing if you weren't in education?
Probably volunteering ... I sort of have a habit of not being able to say no!

What is the best part about working for Centerville Schools?
I love the sense of community. The Centerville and PVN staff is a true family who supports each other through thick and thin. I also love that I feel like I get to know families instead of just students.
