WINTER CARNIVAL - PVN WAS A WINTER WONDERLAND!!

The 2011 edition of the PVN Winter Carnival was simply a wonderful time!! There were so many wonderful crafts and games, delicious food, and a really festive atmosphere. The kids really seemed to be enjoying themselves as they floated from area to area - engaging in INFLATABLE fun in the gym, tasty treats at the cake walk and cookie decorating, and getting a taste of the shopping bug as they visited the Frosty Shoppe.

WINTER PARTIES
December 16
What a wonderful day at PVN!!! The winter parties seemed to be very exciting for the kids!! First the teachers went carolling throughout the school. Then there was a short play from the high school helpers. The kids then did a sing-a-long and returned to their rooms to find a plethroa of wonderful games, treats, and crafts. The kids were shipped off to winter break happy and ready for all of their wonderful traditions to come.

FITNESS CHALLENGE HAS BEGUN

What a great start to the Fitness Challenge. Day 1 went wonderfully as (5) classes raced and jumped their way through the gym. There were several parents there as well which of course the children absolutely LOVE to see. So far we are over $2000.00 raised with (4) days left!! Thanks to everyone for their support!! 2012 FITNESS CHALLENGE
February 1
Thank you to all of our wonderful families for the amazing support during the 2012 PVN PTO Fitness Challenge!! The week went very well thanks to the efforts of Andi Helms and Leah Anne Dabbelt as well as all of our wonderful sponsors Kohl's, Off to Neverland Travel, Earth Fare, and the Washington Square Shell. The kids did a fantastic job (with a few of them saying they completed 180+ laps hahaha). A very special thanks to Mr. Dahm for organizing all of the wonderful games and exercises for the kids and for all of his efforts throughout the year in the care he gives to our kids.

CHECK PRESENTATION FOR FITNESS CHALLENGE
February 14
On February 14, thanks to all of the hard work and effort from the amazing kids at PVN, the PVN PTO was able to provide a check in the amount of $540.00 to Building Blocks for Kids. In the morning, Tate Helms presented the check to the wonderful people of BB4K and in the afternoon Maya Hoff did the honors. It was a great close to our Fitness Challenge. Thank you again to all of the kids as well as to the staff and Mr. Dahm for putting on a great challenge this year. Stay healthy my friends :).
