Looking for ways to engage your child in learning over the summer?

The summer months are a wonderful time for your child to explore, learn, and enjoy being a kid, but families often ask how they can help their child maintain or reinforce skills learned during the school year. To help families with summer learning ideas, our curriculum team has put together a new website with possibilities to support your child as they move “up-to” a new grade. Check out these ideas at the link below.

https://sites.google.com/centerville.k12.oh.us/upto

This site includes:

  • An overview of standards and skills learned at each grade
  • Reading websites and apps
  • Book lists appropriate for each grade
  • Links to articles with tips for parents
  • Math games, activities, and apps
  • Learning extensions
  • Community opportunities

Additional resources for families also are available on the Ohio Department of Education website:
