 Elementary Honor Choir to perform March 12

Make sure and mark your calendar for Sunday, March 12! The Ohio Music Education Association District XII Elementary Honor Choir will be performing at 3 p.m. at the Centerville High School Performing Arts Center. This choir is made up of talented students from across the Miami Valley who have been nominated by their music teachers for demonstrating exceptional vocal abilities.

The guest conductor will be Ms. Jennifer Wightman, conductor of the Springfield Children’s Chorus. There will be approximately 90 participating students from the following schools districts: Dayton Christian, Centerville, Kettering, Beavercreek, Northridge, Clark-Shawnee and West Carrollton. This is the sixth year that it will be hosted by Centerville City Schools. Debbie Whitlock, music teacher at Weller Elementary, is the chair for the event.
