Is your child riding the bus this school year? Be sure to check the Home Access Center for routing information. If your child will have alternate transportation to or from school, remember to complete an Alternate Transportation Form and return it to your child's school.

Open Houses & Curriculum Nights
Open houses began this week! In addition, our primary and elementary schools will be holding Curriculum Nights this fall. List of dates
School starts Aug. 16
The 2017-18 school year will begin for K-12 students on Wednesday, Aug. 16, and preschool begins on Tuesday, Aug. 22. In addition, the calendar includes a Fall Break (Oct. 12-16) at the end of the first quarter. Spring Break will be March 26-30, and the district will again have eight, scheduled two-hour delays. Washington Township to offer morning care for Centerville Schools' scheduled delays
Centerville City Schools and the Washington Township Recreation Center are again partnering on a program to offer a supervised morning care program when the school district has a scheduled two-hour delay. The program runs 7:30-9:30 a.m. for students in grades K-5. Read more
Student board representatives
A group of young representatives will soon become familiar faces at Centerville Board of Education meetings. The board is welcoming three student liaisons – Eliot Ferstl, Megan Rose and Serendipity Gunawardena, who will be seniors at Centerville High School this fall. Read more

69th Annual Ice Cream Social
[All Ages] The 69th annual Ice Cream Social, sponsored by the Washington Township Firefighters Association, has plenty of fun and educational opportunities in store for your family! Hours are 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on Sunday, August 13, at Fire Station 44, 6690 Centerville Business Parkway. Admission is free!
