Watts - Students Perform with Honors Jazz Band

Two students from the Watts band participated in the OMEA District 12 Honor Jazz Band. These students were Caroline Buchheit on the trumpet and Rafael Garcia-Rodriguez on the trombone. Caroline and Rafael rehearsed challenging music, learned how to improvise and then performed a concert with the top musicians from other school districts in our area. WATTS’ BROOKIE WILKINS REPRESENTS DISTRICT IN SPELLING BEE

Congratulations to Watts 7th grader Brookie Wilkens representing Centerville City Schools at the regional Spelling Bee competition at Sinclair Community College on Saturday, February 22nd. Brookie is standing in front of her heritage project involving 5-7 writing pieces, all related to the student’s ancestry/heritage. The project is done annually by Watts 7th graders in their ELA classes. Read More
