Welcome to the Kindergarten News for the Red Neighborhood. Mrs. Taylor and Mrs. Voss would like to share the exciting kindergarten world of learning with you. This will be your online Kindergarten news center. It will help you to stay informed with what your child is doing in their classroom, important reminders and exciting videos and pictures of classroom experiences. We had a wonderful time! 100's DayWe had a fantastic time on 100th day of school. There were so many things we could do with 100!! Fitness ChallengeHere are a few pictures from our fitness challenge. Thank you to everyone for supporting our students on staying strong and fit. Thanksgiving CelebrationBefore Thanksgiving Break Mrs. Taylor's students made caramel popcorn and Mrs. Voss' students made cranberries. We then joined the rest of the red neighborhood and gave thanks for a wonderful school and wonderful friends while we shared our food. The pictures from the feast are below. Rob Scotton Visits PVSRob Scotton, bestselling Author of Russell the Sheep and Splat the Cat came to PVS to talk about his new book Scaredy Cat Splat. He was delightful!! He did a fantastic job reading to the students and teaching them how to draw Splat. We have posted a few pictures from his visit below. Fall ObservationsIn September we began Wondering? what was in the Wee Woods behind PVS. We charted what we wondered before we went out on our walk. When we came back to the classroom we finished our chart with what we Discovered! We have posted the pictures from our walk below. |
