Centerville Preschool serves both children with special needs and peer models, ages 3-5. Our program is designed to develop social skills as well as kindergarten readiness. There are a limited number of openings for typically developing children. Our preschool program is licensed by the Ohio Department of Education. 

We have recently moved from our Hithergreen location.   We have preschool classes at Centerville Primary Village North (CPVN) and Centerville Primary Village South (CPVS).  Our morning session is  8:15-10:45 a.m. and the afternoon session is 12:15-2:45 p.m..  The contact number for CPVN is 438.6062 and the contact number for CPVS is 312.1273.

2012-2013 TYPICAL  DEVELOPING PEER MODEL REGISTRATION

Preschool registration for typically developing or “peer model” children begins on Monday, February 6, 2012 at 8:00 a.m. via a voice mailbox messaging system. Please note this voicemail has a time and date stamp and is only used for registration for typically developing children.   If you leave a message prior to that time, your child will not be included on our list for next year (2012-2013).  This voicemail serves both Centerville Primary Village North and South. 

Please do not call the individual schools to register your child for preschool for next year as they will not take your name but direct you to call the voice mail number. 

We will determine our needs for the next year and begin calling names on our list in March and April. Our goal is to have all children registered by May.  Please note, unfortunately, there are always more names on our wait list than slots available. Preschool is not mandatory in the state of Ohio and we have a limited number of slots available to typically developing children.   Unfortunately due to the limited number of openings for typically developing children/peer models, there will be names on our list that do not get offered a slot for the next school year. We appreciate your interest in our preschool and hope to be able to offer your child a slot. 

If you are interested in registering your child as typical or “peer model” in our preschool, please call 438.6030, ext. 330 on or after Monday, February 6, 2012 at 8:00 a.m. Please speak slowly when leaving your name, phone number, address, child’s name and child’s date of birth if you are interested in registering your typically developing child for an opening at our preschool.   Thank you!
