Centerville Orchestra Supporters

The purpose of this organization is to provide recognition, esprit de corps, and financial support to the Centerville School Orchestras.

Just what is the CSOS and what do we do?
We are a non-profit parent run support organization whose purpose is to enhance your child's experience in the orchestra program. We are parents that are dedicated to supporting the high quality of music education that our children receive from these programs. We work in cooperation with the Directors to organize the events that your child participates in as well as raising the funds to do them. We also volunteer our time and effort for putting on the many fine concerts that go on through out the school year.

Some of the events we plan and fund are:

  • Elementary Strings Concert
  • A night of Lasagna and Strings
  • Dessert Night
  • Awards night

Some of the items we fund for the orchestra program include:

  • Music (especially at the elementary level)
  • Uniforms for the high school orchestra
  • Publishing of our newsletter "Staccato Notes"
  • Funding of our Website
  • Awards, trophies, and scholarships
  • Reward parties and outings for the students
  • Other material and supplies needed by the orchestra directors
  •

How to Join the CSOS:
Print the form located at www.centervilleorchestra.org/docs/MembershipFormWeb.pdf and mail it to the address provided on the form with your family membership fee. Our Membership Drive is our main source of funds replacing the need to send our students out selling items.
