Resource Officer Visits 2nd Graders

Deputy Gary  Fulwiler, our school resource office, visited 2nd graders in October. He talked about safety tips and allowed students to ask questions about his job. NORMANDY GIRL SCOUTS IMPACTING VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

Members of Normandy’s Girl Scout Troop 30853 made bracelets as a way to work on a bronze badge, and are seen here selling them during their lunch time. For each bracelet sold, another one will be donated to a woman suffering from domestic violence and a new stuffed animal will be given to a child letting them know there are people who care about them. Normandy students learned about one of our "Words of the Quarter," CREATIVITY, during our March Community Meeting. We are creative when we take risks, challenge ourselves to learn something new, and allow ourselves to be curious about new topics.
