"Everybody Counts" Program

Thanks to our PTO, all students are participating in "Everybody Counts." This is a disability awareness program, run by volunteers, which teaches children the importance of respecting, accepting and valuing all people. It’s an important program that the students remember from year to year. Pictured are students attempting to write by using a mirror. PTO Ice Cream Social Normandy's PTO Ice Cream Social included many activities which were organized by our art teacher, Mrs. Tavani. Pictured are students and parents creating art together. Patriot Day 2016

Students and staff honored local first responders at Normandy Elementary's annual Patriot Day Flag Ceremony. Mayor Brooks Compton spoke about the heroes in our community as well as the potential for all of us to be heroes. Students respectfully honored our flag with the Pledge of Alliegence and sang Heroes and This is America. Special thanks to music teacher, Mrs. Fairgrieve, and the many students who presented cards of gratitude to local heroes.
