Great Kindness Challenge

This week our students and staff focused on the Great Kindness Challenge, an entire week dedicated to doing kind acts for one another. Students built a kindness chain in our lunchroom, with every link representing a kind act that someone performed. Pictured are some students who helped put the chain together. Over 1500 links were added just this week! Students also listened to Kindness Quotes each morning...What a kind week we had! Read More

Proud Paw Winners

Each week we randomly select Proud Paw winners to receive crazy prizes. This week our winners got to wear these fun glasses. Proud Paws are tickets awarded to students who show the expected behaviors in various zones of our school. It's a nice way to let them know that we appreciate their positive behavior choices. Usually there are about 300 tickets in the raffle. That's a lot of well-behaved students! Read More

Proud Paw Announcers

All of our students have the opportunity to earn "Proud Paws" throughout the day. Staff members award these certificates when someone is "caught" showing positive work habits or good character. Each week there is a drawing for prizes or the privilege of being a daily announcer. PTO helps to cover the cost of the prizes but many students choose to do the morning announcement as their prize. It’s a pleasure to start our day with students speaking so well! Read More
