English Language Learners (ESL)

ESL services are available to identified students in grades preschool to Grade 12 who have a language other than English as their primary or home language, and who are not English language proficient. Students are evaluated by ESL tutors to determine if they qualify for services. When students are identified for ESL services a program is designed, with parental support, to provide assistance such as tutoring, subject-area support, and support for socialization. The program is designed in accordance with mandated State policies and procedures.
