The Business Office administers district-wide purchasing as well as oversees the operation of the maintenance/custodial, transportation, and food service departments. In addition, the Business Office administers the Board of Education approved permanent improvement budget as well as facility planning, building renovations, and new construction. The Director of Business Operations also coordinates the annual appropriations process, regularly monitors budget accounts, and manages cost control programs to maximize the district's financial resources.
Centerville’s Student Nutrition Services program is among 34 Ohio schools or school districts that received a 2011 Stellar Award for Best Nutrition Practices, the Ohio Department of Education announced in late December. The ODE established the Stellar Awards in 2003 to recognize schools that use best practices to promote a healthy school nutrition environment.
