Academic VolunteersOur vision is to provide the best education possible for each child in our schools by involving the community as helping hands with teachers in meeting the varying and diverse needs of our students. Volunteer opportunities are available during school hours in grades K-12 and in one after school program. Volunteers assist students who are struggling, who need to reinforce skills, and who need enrichment. A volunteer can help a student who is absent, help with test preparation, or speak to a class regarding a profession. We try to match volunteer interests and talents with teacher needs. To date, we have over 450 parent and community volunteers assisting and supporting classroom teachers. Come back to school! Call (937) 433-8841 ext. 259 today to find out what opportunities are available. You can make a difference! |
